
Phillip Spaeth is currently a fifth-year PhD student in clinical psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University. He recently completed a year-long externship at New York Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health Center, where he worked with acutely-distressed adults struggling with chronic emotion dysregulation, self-harm, and suicidality. Phillip is a strong proponent of evidence-based interventions and has gained experience in inpatient, outpatient, and research settings. Over the course of his doctoral studies, he has been fortunate to work with a diverse group of clients with a broad range of difficulties and received training in CBT, DBT, emotion regulation therapy (ERT), and interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT).
