Couples Therapy

IBCT Many couples in distress experience characteristic patterns or behavioral themes that make it difficult to resolve conflicts.  When partners find themselves repeatedly having the same argument, engaging in the same conflict, and feeling the same lack of fulfillment, Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy (IBCT) may offer a solution for restructuring the couples interactions and helping you to move forward.

Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy (IBCT)

Not just another talk therapy, the couples treatment offered at CBT/DBT Associates is an evidence-based intervention which empowers couples by teaching them skills which they can apply in their day-to-day interactions.

Through IBCT, couples learn to interpret their partners’ behaviors in a manner that best promotes intimacy and goodwill. Couples will learn skills to reinforce positive behaviors in their partners as well as tools to foster more effective communication.
