Mindful Moms: A Skills and Support Group for Managing the Day-to-Day Stressors of Being a New Mother

Mindful Moms is an 8-week group for mothers of newborns and young children. Group members will learn mindfulness techniques to manage the day-to-day stressors of being a new parent, decrease postpartum blues, depression, and anxiety, and increase appreciation of positive parenting moments. Each group will be spent learning and practicing mindfulness, discussing skills use, and providing emotional support. This group meets once weekly for an hour and is led by Rachel Hutt, Ph.D.
