Nikita Patel, M.S.
Nikita Patel earned her B.A. in psychology with a minor in child and adolescent mental health studies and business studies from New York University and is currently a 4th year doctoral candidate in the Combined School-Clinical Child Psychology Program at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University.
Prior to her current placement, Nikita completed psychology externships at Greenburgh-Graham Union Free School District and at Leake and Watts Family Foster Care Agency. She provided psychotherapy and conducted assessments with children ages 6-17. Nikita received training in Dr. Greene’s Collaborative Problem Solving approach. She also received specialized training in TFCBT and CBT for mood, anxiety, and behavior disorders in community-based mental health care clinics. Nikita provides CBT and DBT-informed treatment to adolescents at an outpatient mental health care clinic located in Bronx, NY.
Nikita works as a psychometrician, administering and scoring neuropsychological assessments to children, adolescents, and adults at a private practice in Long Island.
